I’ve been in the Navy for 17 years. I’ve been to Afghanistan and Iraq for a total of 8 combat deployments. The knives I used most while serving were a *redacted*, which served me quite well for the majority of my first deployment until the torsion bar broke. The second knife from *redacted* saw 2 deployments, when it's coil spring broke in the middle of the second deployment. When contacted, both companies sent me a new knife and replacement parts for the old one. Then there’s the Pro-Tech. It saw the remaining five deployments. It still fires as hard as the day it was new. It’s pretty worn, but the damn thing kicks like a mule and cuts perfectly. Not a single loose screw, rattle, “quirk” or anything. In the business that I’m in, we need our gear to work. Every time. Having a nice warranty or backing the product is really awesome but getting a replacement knife doesn’t solve the problem I find myself in when my knife fails to fire right in that moment. My Pro-Tech knife has never put me in that situation. I’m pretty damn happy with Pro-Tech doing it right the first time. Thank you! - Jon

Had a long time customer come in today and just happened to show me his Calmigo. He was in a bad accident this winter and the knife got run over by a car. It was then lost in the Jackson Hole midwinter snow for a week before he managed to locate it and dig it out. Put it back in his pocket and proceeded to open boxes with it everyday for last 3 months. Said to me today "I think the screw is a little loose." I gave it a fraction of a millimeter turn, which it didn't even really need, and it was good to go.

Your knives are meticulously thought out and consistently have that rare, almost "magic" quality of a blade that begs to be handled. And as for fast, hard locking blades? I believe Pro-Tech is now universally known to have THE most aggressive action...period. Nothing else comes close.
